“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.” -Marianne Williamson
It is this fear of discovering who we are that motivates our inactivity or our constant state of busy-ness. This Truth is a hunter that is constantly searching us out and we do everything in our power to outrun it as if that could do away with the Truth of who we are. Sometimes we run because we know that the process would require us to come undone. It would require that we let go of who we thought we were and who we had worked so hard at becoming. Other times we stand so still like a dear in the forest, hoping the hunter will not see us and will pass us by. The Creator will not leave any of its sons or daughters behind. All must remember from where they came and be restored on the throne of the Divine.
There is so much more to Life. There is an intense beauty to the human experience which involves the Yin and Yang. Everything in this human dimension has its opposite and they are tools which allow us to experience and understand. Yet no thing is good or bad in and of itself. In fact, at the end of this life when all is said and done, we will be able to see from a higher perspective how absolutely everything works together for us to know who it is we are in the light and the creator void of dark.
