“We think of ourselves as humans searching for a spiritual awakening, when in fact we are spiritual beings attempting to cope with a human awakening. Seeing ourselves from the perspective of the spirit within will help you to remember why you came here and what you came here to do.” Anonymous
The road we are on is invisible to the human eye. It is an internal journey that leads to Self-realization. This road can feel long and winding. At times we cannot see beyond the bend and just when we become comfortable with the idea and the conditions, a sign appears that reads “exit” up ahead. How many of us haven’t thought this path of awakening is too difficult? Perhaps I should have stayed asleep? Life was easier then. But was it really? Just because a person is not aware that they are suffering, doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.
We have been on this road countless lifetimes and your ancestors before you. Each of us taking turns, passing the baton to one another hoping that we will be the one to wake up to such a degree that it will travel backwards and forward in time healing our ancestral line.
As if that isn’t enough reason to stay the course, our awakening contributes to humanity’s collective awakening. We light each other up. Can you imagine if Jesus or Buddha had taken their enlightenment and hidden in some cave? Where would be? We must wake up and take our light into the world.
So, you see, you are on the right road and it is much easier than you think. When we realize we are never separate from God, nor alone it becomes a grace filled journey and the only road home.
You are the one we have been waiting for.
Affirmation: My Father and I are one. I am on a magnificent journey of remembering, everyone and everything I see is a reflection of the Presence. I live to sing its praises and during my very human experience my only job is to bring more God, more me to all I encounter on the journey. I Am, I Am free.
